Hello Neighbors,
We’re so close to topping off Casa Adelante – 1515 South Van Ness! Level 8 East has been poured this month, which then takes us to our final level. Level 9 is expected to be poured by March to then only leave the roof to be completed by early April. With that, our interior rough-ins continue to rise floor-by-floor with this week targeting Level 4.
We started our first concrete pour all the way back in July with our rat slab layer. So, in only nine months, we rose 1515 South Van Ness from the ground up to where our future community stands today.
Update for February 20th
Over the next few weeks (weather permitting!) you will notice that we will complete the concrete pours of our Level 8 shear walls and columns, Level 9 West deck in early March, and Level 9 East deck in mid-March.
The building exterior skin work is underway, with Densglass, weather barrier and windows being installed up to Level 5 by mid-March. Densglass is a fiberglass-mat gypsum exterior sheathing panel commonly used behind stucco, brick, and other cladding to provide moisture resistance, fire protection, and a stable substrate in commercial and multifamily construction.
Our interior rough-in is ongoing at Level 4 and will continue up through Level 6 by mid-March.
